Blake Riley is a computational structural biologist and protein engineer, interested in understanding and exploiting links between protein evolution, dynamics and allostery.
Blake earned his PhD at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, where he worked on the protein engineering of a cyclopeptide as a protease inhibitor scaffold. He then moved to New York City to do postdoctoral training with Asst Prof Daniel Keedy, developing methods in X-ray crystallography for extracting atomic-resolution data about protein dynamics. At Replay, he will be applying a battery of computational & machine learning methods to design improvements to key proteins across our platform.
